About Mrs. Brown

Mrs. Brown attended elementary school at St. Gregory's and secondary school at P.E.C.I. in Picton, Ontario.  She earned both her Bachelor of Music degree and Bachelor of Education degree from Queen's University.  She taught elementary school in her first year in Whitby.  Since then, she has taught at St. Theresa since its opening in September 1998.  She loved to read from a very young age and continues to do so, while now also fostering a love of reading in her son.  While at St. Theresa, she has taken a 3-part course in order to earn her Library Specialist qualification.  She also earned a Library and Information Technician diploma from Mohawk College after many online courses and 2 co-operative placements during many years while teaching.
